I have forgotten how slow dial-up internet connections are! Well, we're here for a week now…I think. I've lost track of the date and now only mark time by the passage of sights on our tour. Today was gemstone/silk factory/tea plantation/mountains day.

The highlight truly was the tea plantation/factory. As an avid green tea drinker, the "inside scoop" was amazing. We saw the process by which the tiny, barefoot women dry, roll, ferment, sort and grind the tea from start to finish. It tastes so good too!

Only two days remain on our tour of the countryside as we make our way to the beach town and the children at the school.
