Bonjour!
We arrived in Paris a couple of nights ago, and it is gorgeous! Yesterday we had a full day of sight seeing. First we saw the Notre Dame cathedral! It is by far one of my favorite churches that we have been able to see so far! After the Notre Dame we went over to the Louvre! There we were able to see the Mona Lisa, of course, and many other famous works of art.

Today we also have a busy schedule! We are going to see Versailles, and last but not least, the Eiffel Tower! I'm so excited! Tomorrow we're leaving for Zurich and on Saturday we'll be going home!

This past week we unfortunately had to leave the beautiful Lugano, but we made our way to Munich! It was so much fun! The day we arrived we took a bike tour of Munich through Mike's Bike Tours! We were able to see the beautiful city of Munich and we had a lot of fun doing it!

The next day we had to leave, but that morning we went and visited the Dachau Concentration Camp. It was so interesting! We toured the whole camp, and learned so much; it was a really great experience! Later that day we caught a train to make our way to Paris!

We've made it to Switzerland!

Last week my travel group and I took a travel break to Lake Como. We only had a couple of nights there, but what we did get to see was just beautiful! From there we made our way to Interlaken, and then to Stechelberg and Gimmelwald. There we stayed a few nights, and we hiked up the mountains. It was so gorgeous! Also we stayed another night in Interlaken where we went white water rafting! It was so worth it, and so much fun! Yesterday we arrived at our accommodations in Lugano where we will be for the next week. They are so nice! For the next week we will be having class, but after that it's on to Munich and Paris!

We got back from our second travel break yesterday from Venice, and it was wonderful! Venice is such a beautiful city with so much to do and see! On Tuesday we traveled around the city and visited the cemetery island which was very interesting. Also, we went to the island of Murano where we were able to see how they make their famous glass! Later that night three other girls and I went to St. Mark’s Square and had dinner at the famous Caffè Florian, and listened to the music of orchestras around the square.

The next day we visited the Peggy Guggenheim museum and viewed artwork by Jackson Pollack and Picasso, just to name a couple. Later that afternoon, we went back to St. Mark's Square and went into St. Mark's Basillica. I can definitely say that this is one of the most beautiful and amazing churches I have ever been in! It was amazing to see all of the incredible architecture and the ceiling that was covered in mosaic artwork! We also went into Doge's Palace, which was the residence of the Doge of Venice, and spent a couple of hours going through and seeing all there was to see including the Bridge of Sighs. Thursday, unfortunately, we had to leave, but I'm so glad we were able to spend one of our travel breaks there!

We all got back from our first travel breaks yesterday! The group I traveled with went to Rome and Capri! It was with Lesley, Christin, Natalie, Sarah, Whitney and Julia. Let me just say that we had an AMAZING time!

The first night we stayed in Rome. We didn't have much time there, so we only got to see the Colosseum and the Spanish Steps, but they were beautiful! It's hard for me to believe how the Romans built such incredible structures like that! Walking around Rome is pretty tiring so we definitely got a good night’s sleep!

The next day we woke up early to get to Capri! We took a train to Naples, a taxi to the port, and a hydrofoil ferry to Capri! It is such a beautiful place, and our hotel was beautiful! Thankfully they had a pool because since we didn't have much time for anything else that day, we just decided to lay out most of the afternoon in paradise!

On Wednesday we went shopping, and got some custom made Italian shoes! We also took a chairlift up to the summit of Monte Solaro. It was so beautiful! Later we took an awesome convertible taxi down to the beach and soaked up the sun for a few hours! After that we went and swam in the Blue Grotto! That was definitely a highlight of the day!

Unfortunately this dream vacation had to come to an end, but Monday we get to spend three days in Venice!Entry 1:

Italy is amazing! It's so beautiful here, and the people are so nice! The food is incredible! I don't think I've tried anything I haven't liked! We have visited a lot of cathedrals and churches, and also attended a Catholic mass. On May 20th we went to the Museo Civico here in Sansepolcro. There we were able to see Piero della Francesco's artwork. On the 19th we went to the Casa Buitoni. It was amazing! We got a tour of the Casa, and had a great lunch on the terrace that has a gorgeous view of everything! Tomorrow we are going to Florence! I'm so excited!
