Selva Verde, Costa Rica
It is almost time for my stay in Costa Rica to come to an end and what an adventure it has been! Through the mountainous hills of San Luis, to the rocky beach of Cabo, from the hot, humid jungle of La Selva, and now finally to the soothing resort of Selva Verda ... what a trip!
Today, after grueling days of work, hiking and research, we were able to pick what we wanted to do with our day. Five of us set off horseback riding, which has been the best experience of my days here! The trail was fun, going through rivers and high grass, and the horses had their own particular personalities that made the adventure that much more enjoyable. Now that we are back at the resort and looking on to the next day wherein we will travel closer to the airport for departure, I can only say that although I had a rough time on this trip, it has been an experience that has helped me grow for the better. Because of the hardship endured on the trip I am more independent and more confident in myself as a student, a traveler and as a person. Pura Vida!
