The Desktop Support Specialists provide 2nd level hardware and software (OS) support in the field for faculty and staff. The support specialists second responsibilty is to maintain the various computer labs that are located throughout the campus.

Open/Common Computer Labs are maintained by the desktop support staff for student use. Various departments at Meredith have individual labs that are restricted to students involved with particular classes or majors. A CAM card is required for access into the labs.
The Computer labs, at specified times, may be reserved for class use. Schedules for class reservations will be posted on the lab doors. The LINC lab will never be scheduled for classes after 5 pm or on the weekend.

During summer the labs may close earlier due to a lack of activity.
