New Email Server: The following help documents are available for users using the new Whiterabbit email server:
Personal Email Accounts: All full and part time faculty, staff and currently enrolled students (in 1 class or more) will be assigned a Meredith email account and are strongly encouraged to use email for college communications. If you have not been assigned an email account, please submit an email account request form or contact The Office of Technology Services at 760-2323. Spam Quarantine Service: Because of the growing SPAM (unsolicited email) problem, Technology Services has implemented the Spam Quarantine Service. This service quarantines emails suspected to be spam, significantly reducing the amount of junk mail that shows up in your inbox. This service also detects and deletes viruses and worms before they reach your inbox. Organizational or Sponsored Accounts: Accounts for campus organizations and sponsored email accounts are available upon approval by Technology Services email administrator. To request an account, please submit the appropriate form below or email postmaster@meredith.edu.
Online Email Directory: A private (password protected) email directory is available to the Meredith community. Because this is a private list, you will need to come by the Noel House or Noel Annex with your camcard ID to receive a password to access this directory. List Server Mailing Lists: List server mailing lists are provided to the Meredith community as means of sharing information and holding discussions within groups related to education, research, and teaching. List server mailing lists are available to current faculty, staff, and student organizations. For more information, please see List Server Mailing Lists Policy. To request a list, please submit a request form: Email Clients: Meredith College offers several different email clients to the campus for use by faculty, staff and students: Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird and the web interface at whiterabbit.meredith.edu. The ATS team offers individual email instruction sessions by request. These sessions may be a half hour in length, and will be scheduled as time permits.
