Web Advisor

  Web Advisor is a web based interface that allows access to certain data that resides in Colleague. It allows access to course information and student academic and demographic information.

  Access Web Advisor
   
   
  Access
  Anyone can access the section lookup functionality in Web Advisor, it does not require a login.

Students-All students have access to Web Advisor. They have the ability to look up their grades, schedules, course history, and register.

Faculty-All Faculty have access to Web Advisor. They have the ability to see demographic information for all students in their classes. They can view academic information for their advisees. Faculty are required to check the ‘advisees checkbox’ to allow their advisees to register.

   
   
  Support
  The Information Systems Team is responsible for all maintenance and support of Colleague. For technical questions, and issues regarding Web Advisor, call 8989 or email infosys@meredith.edu.
   
  Passwords can be reset from within Web Advisor.
   
  For questions about the data displayed in Web Advisor and issues involving registration or training for students and faculty, call the Registrar’s Office at 8878.

  Programming Changes
  Programming changes, report creation and new project requests should be submitted using the Information Systems Request Form.The form must be completed by the director/department head of the office making the request. The form may be submitted electronically via the above form or printed (PDF) and sent to the Information Systems Team (109 Noel House), with a copy sent also to the appropriate vice president. Any questions regarding the request that cannot be resolved by the submitting department head and the Information Systems Team will be addressed promptly by the Information Systems Committee.
   
   
  New Web Advisor functionality
  Direct Deposit stubs on-line will be available by July 1, 2006.
