Help Desk Policy

- Meredith students who own their own computers may receive support from us. We will diagnose the problem and do our best to resolve it for them. However, should the resolution require additional or replacement parts, we do not provide them or order them. If you have hardware or software that needs to be installed, we will install it for you, however, we will not support instant messaging software, file sharing programs (AIM, ICQ, Kazaa, etc…)

- We provide color ink in residence hall labs only. All other labs on campus require that the user provide their own color ink cartridge.

- We do not send desktop support specialists out to student rooms. If problems are unable to be resolved over the phone with students, to receive a resolution students must bring their system to the support center.
