Policies

Meredith College uses a variety of policies to govern and monitor computer usage on the campus. Faculty, staff, students, and guests have the responsibility to follow these policies while they are located on Meredith College property, using Meredith College equipment, or interfacing with Meredith College owned equipment.

The Laptop Policy addresses the rules and regulations that pertain to the laptop program which is part of Meredith's technology initiative.

The Web Policy addresses all electronically published material either directly resident on or accessible by a hyperlink from Meredith College owned or leased equipment, access to this material, and related administrative and security functions.

The Computer Use Policy is designed to guide students, faculty, and staff with using Meredith's computing resources in an effective, ethical, moral, and legal manner.

The ListServ Mailing Lists Policy addresses how a list serve is to be used at meredith College. It explains the standards that have to be met when using Meredith College list server mailing lists.

The Help Desk Policy addresses what services the help desk will be able to provide to faculty, staff and students.
The Administrative Data Policy addresses the fact Meredith College owns all administrative data. Individual departments, offices and personnel may have specific, limited stewardship and maintenance responsibilities for portions of the data.
