Laptop
Ownership: The MTI provides students
with transfer of laptop ownership at no cost. As referenced
in both the laptop policy and the Student
Program Agreement
- if a student completes a minimum of two
full time semesters and graduates/completes a professional
under-graduate program, such as a second degree, a second
major, or a professional certificate, the laptop will
become the property of the student. Download

Personal
Laptop Use:
If the student desires to use their own laptop, IBM compatible
or Macintosh, either because they don't qualify for the
program or prefer to use their own equipment, Meredith
College will configure their personal laptop to access
the Meredith Wireless community or issue a special wireless
card to be used while the student is on the Meredith campus. |
Support
for personal laptops is limited to Meredith
network access issues. The help desk will provide the
Meredith wireless access connection configuration on a
students personal laptop. The student will be required
to have proper id before installation is performed. |
Software
that is installed on a Meredith Laptop can not be transfered
to a students personal laptop. Because the cost of the
technology initiative/laptop program is factored into
the full-time students tutition, it is highly recommended
students participate in the program. |
