Email

All full and part time employees and currently enrolled students are assigned a Meredith College Google GMail account to be used for college related communication. Gmail is part of the Google Apps Suite.

If an employee or student has not been assigned an email account, or needs to report email issues, please contact the Technology Services help desk at 760-2323.
Cell phones that allow for data encryption can be used by students and employees to receive Meredith Email. The link Google Apps for Mobile will provide setup and configuration instructions for supported cell phones.

Only phones owned by Meredith College will be eligible for Tech Services support. Contact the help desk at 760-2323 if a Meredith owned cell phone requires support.
Gmail For Students   
Students will be issued a Meredith Gmail account prior to the start of the semester. Time frame for receiving the mail could vary depending on when the student was admitted and deposited. Account information is automatically mailed to the student's home residence. The letter will contain their netid, password, and login information.

Students will use their netid (the first part of the email address prior to the @ sign) to login into web-GMail.
Passwords:
•
 Passwords will not be reset over the telephone.
•

 Students who have fogotten their passwords will need to come to the Technology Services help desk with picture ID.

Gmail For Faculty and Staff   
Employees at Meredith College are assigned a Meredith Gmail account as soon as notice of employment from Human Resources is sent to Technology Serives. The account will be created and stored in the Noel House for pickup. In addition to web mail, employees have the option to use Microsoft's Outlook as their email reader. Please contact the helpdesk (760-2323) for setup.
