Teaching Fellows Advisory Committee
The Teaching Fellows Advisory Committee was established in August 1987, when Meredith was notified of acceptance as a Teaching Fellows Institution. The Advisory Committee's mission is to:
- assist with the planning and implementation of the Fellows Program;
- advise the Teaching Fellows Director on all matters concerning the Meredith Program;
- enhance the Teaching Fellows Program.
In order to involve a wide segment of campus in Teaching Fellows activities, the composition of the Advisory Committee is interdepartmental and includes representation from each class of Fellows and local public school personnel including, but not limited to, practicing teachers. In addition, the Director of the Office of Admissions also serves as a member of the Committee. All minutes of the Advisory Committee are kept on file.
