Fresh Local Produce on Campus, Invitation to Join Fall CSA
Students, staff and faculty are invited to join Beausol Gardens’ 2011 Fall CSA season.
The weekly baskets will be delivered directly to campus on Tuesday afternoons and will include mostly roots and greens that grow well in our North Carolina piedmont autumn climate.
This Fall CSA season will be nine deliveries over 10 weeks running from the third week in October (first delivery on the 18th) and ending the week before Christmas (December 20th). We will skip delivery during Thanksgiving week and make the week before 'heavier.'
The cost of the full Fall CSA share is $250.00 (sized for a family) and the half Fall CSA share is $125.00 (sized for 1-2 people). New this season is a '3/4 share' for $180.00. The 3/4 quarter share will consist of alternating weekly full and half share amounts (5 full share and 4 half share deliveries).
Payment is due when you sign up. Beausol Gardens anticipates being fully subscribed quickly, sign up soon.
Deliveries will be at the Chapel on Tuesdays around 4:00 PM, with shares held until Wednesday mornings at 9:00am. (The College will be closed for the winter break on the day the last delivery occurs, we will make other arrangements.)
Please make payment payable to "Harry LeBlanc" and mail to 139 Beausol Lane, Pittsboro, NC 27312-4135.
