Environmental Career Panel

On Friday, April 16 from noon- 12:50pm in SMB 118 we are hosting a biological/environmental career panel of Meredith alumnae. The panel is organized by Dana Sumner in the career center and Dr. Jason Andrus of biology. Lunch will be served for all participants.

Panelists will be:

-Laura Gadd, ’01, North Carolina Natural Heritage Program (conservation/climate change)
-Emily Phillips, ’01, Senior Environmental Biologist at NC Division of Water Quality
-Brittni Walker, ’08, Solar Administration Support, Southern Energy Management
-Amanda Powell, ’08, Research Technician in the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke

I strongly encourage you to attend the panel if you are considering an environmental career. The alums will be able to give you information on how to get a job and what kinds of skills they use and responsibilities they have in their positions.
