CHE 111A and CHE 141 A-4 credit hours

Learn the fundamental principles of chemistry, emphasizing stoichiometry, atomic and molecular structure, and chemical bonding. The co-requisite lab presents labs designed to supplement the work of the lecture course.

CHE 112 A and CHE 142 A-4 credit hours

Take all of your chemistry over the summer! No chance to lose your edge! These co-requisite courses continue the fundamental concepts, with an emphasis on kinetics, equilibria, electrochemistry and descriptive chemistry. The labs supplement the lecture course.

This course counts as a Science in Society course.

GEO 200A and GEO 240 A-4 credit hours

Learn the geological history of the Earth as a planet. See how rivers reshape continents. Learn how to predict weather. This course is an introduction to the atmospheric, hydrologic and geologic processes by which the physical environment of our planet is continuously reshaped and reformed.

This course fulfils a general education in science requirement.
