Mission
Student Health Services will provide care to those eligible for services, and strive to educate the Meredith Community about medical issues that are pertinent and relevant to the total wellness of students, faculty, and staff.

The Carroll Health Center is located between Belk Dining Hall and Martin Hall on the first floor of Carroll Hall.

Clinic hours
Nurses are available in the Health Center for consultation/treatment of minor illnesses:
Monday – Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Life Threatening Emergency
Call 760-8888 to alert Campus Police of any emergency on campus. Campus Police will alert 911 services and direct them to the site of the emergency.
Emergency Care Resources
Call the Health Center (919) 760-8535 for area resources that provide emergency care or consult with the residence director on call (919) 612-6350.
Minor illnesses and emergencies will be treated by the health services staff. Major illnesses will be referred off campus or to a family physician.
