Enrollment Management Team
The Enrollment Management Team (EMT) develops strategies for strengthening student recruitment, enrollment, retention, persistence and graduation rates. The team meets monthly to study facts, analyze data, review and recommend changes for policies and procedures, look at historical and technology trends and help achieve the College’s goals.
During 2010-2011, the EMT presented recommendations to the senior management team, administrative leaders, and other groups to improve and strengthen enrollment and retention. The team continued to assist the College in meeting its overarching enrollment goals. Highlights included: reviewed analyses of leave of absence and withdrawal reports, Persistence Rates reports, Mid-Term Grades and Retention data; worked with campus offices on issues related to a new billing process, summer school and the First Year Experience course for freshmen, course registration and class orientation events; examined data from the Admitted Student Survey conducted by Human Capital Research Corporation and the Noel-Levitz 2nd Year Survey; collaborated with the Office of Marketing on the Things You Should Know and It Matters publications; gained knowledge on the Environmental Sustainability Major; explored retention improvement and discussed strategies for increasing applications; and reviewed compliance requirements of new federal laws for financial assistance.
The EMT consists of 21 members representing various administrative units, the faculty and students. Thank you for visiting our website and please feel free to contact any one of our team members.
