Daniel J. Green

Daniel Green joined Meredith College in Fall 2002. He earned both his Bachelor of Music in music education and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from the University of Miami in Florida. He completed the Master of Arts degree in arts administration and choral music at California State University, Long Beach. Prior to his current post as associate vice president for enrollment at Meredith College, he worked in the North Carolina public university and community college systems, and most recently served as special assistant to the executive vice president at the University of North Carolina, Office of the President.

Since coming to North Carolina in 1988, Green has been instrumental in developing a variety of programs and initiatives that assist students to excel in school and pursue their educational goals of attaining a postsecondary education. He is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling, American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Music Educators National Conference and the American Choral Directors Association. A published composer, Green serves annually as a guest clinician for choral festivals. He is also a certified trainer in character education through Character Counts! of the Joseph and Edna Josephson Institute of Ethics.

Donna Knott has worked at Meredith College since January 2005 when she joined the Office of Admissions. In July 2006 she was promoted to assistant to the vice president of enrollment in the office for enrollment management. Prior to coming to Meredith College, Knott worked for 13 years in public education. Her last position was with the Department of Public Instruction where she was the training coordinator for the NCWISE project.
