New Main Office and Waiting Room!

We have moved some things around in order to better serve our students! You will now find both the Main Office and the Waiting Room in the middle of 2nd floor Carroll Hall. You can check in and schedule appointments in the Main Office now located in 208 Carroll. The much larger, accessible waiting room is now located across the hall in 207 Carroll. Accommodation Review Meetings to Request Accommodation Letters- Fall 2012

Students requesting Accommodation Letters are required to bring their completed fall 2011 Release Form and Rights & Responsibilities form to their Accommodation Review Meeting with a Disability Services staff member. To make this process as convenient as possible, Disability Services will host walk in hours beginning the first day of class, Wednesday, August 15th through Friday, August 24th from 9:00am-12:00pm and from 1:00pm-4:00pm.

Remember, Disability Services encourages you to attend each of your classes at least once before coming in to request your letters so that you have a clear understanding of the structure, format, and requirements of the class.

Smart Pen Pilot

Disability Services will be continuing a pilotprogram in the fall semester to evaulate the use of Smart Pens for students with disabilities who use note taking assistance as an accommodation. Enrollment in the pilot is limited, so if you are inerested, please let a Disability Counselor know!

Walk-In Problem Solving Hours
Disability Services has arranged for a walk-in consultation/problem solving hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10:00am so that you do not have to wait for an appointment to begin the problem-solving process. Faculty and staff may also use this time to call and consult about a disability related issue. Please feel free to contact us with questions or concerns.

WYNN Reading Technology
WYNN screen reading software is now available for all Meredith users! All new Meredith computers will come with WYNN already installed. If you would like to have WYNN installed on your Meredith computer,you may now download it from Blackboard.
