UPASS Program
UPASS Program
Meredith has joined the City of Raleigh UPASS program sponsored by the Capital Area Transit(CAT). This program will allow Meredith students and employees to ride CAT buses FARE-FREE to commute to and from campus, or do personal errands, shopping, visiting friends, etc. Besides convenience and cost savings, increased ridership would conserve fossil fuel resources, improve air quality through the reduction of vehicle emissions, and decrease traffic congestion.
The first year will be a pilot program to determine the usage and benefits of the program. Students and employees can use the program by simply showing their Meredith College CamCard/ID to the CAT drivers.
You can visit the CAT system website at www.raleigh-nc.org/transit for more information about routes, times, etc. Route brochures are also located in the Cate Center near the Information Desk and above the Commuter Mail Pockets on the 1st floor.
