International Student Resources
Meredith College is pleased to welcome students from a variety of international backgrounds. In addition to the offerings of the Office of Commuter Life and Diversity Services, the College provides the following resources for international students.
Meredith offers an orientation for international students, which occurs prior to the campus wide orientation for new students. The purpose is to introduce international students to the American education system, academic expectations and Meredith traditions and lifestyles.
An International Students web site, which is a resource for all international students at Meredith, includes information pertaining to immigration matters for those who require a student visa as well as local resources that may be of interest to the wider international population. Visit the site at www.meredith.edu/international/.
The Meredith International Association (MIA) promotes interest in other cultures through interaction with other students, faculty, administration and community groups. MIA members share knowledge and understanding of the different cultures in the Meredith community. For more information contact mia@meredith.edu
