Commuter Life / Programs for Commuters
Freshman Commuter Orientation
Commuter Orientation is a program designed to assist all new freshman commuters in making a seamless transition from high school to Meredith College. During Commuter Orientation you will have the opportunity to:
- Bond with other incoming commuter students.
- Learn about commuter programs and services.
- Learn ways to become engaged and involved in the campus community.
- Learn how to obtain a parking decal, a meal plan (optional), as well as obtain a campus ID card.
Commuter Appreciation Events
Meredith hosts two campus-wide events each year to celebrate commuter students: Commuter Appreciation Day and Commuter Appreciation Week.
Association of Meredith Commuters
The Association of Meredith Commuters (AMC) is an active campus organization whose primary mission is to keep commuter students informed and involved in campus events and activities. Every commuter is automatically a member of AMC.
The group meets to discuss policies, concerns and requests related to commuter life, and enjoy a variety of programs and guest speakers, and receive up-to-date campus information.
