Qualifications:

 - must have declared social work as a major

 - achieved sophomore status

 - completed 8 hours of social work courses

 - overall grade point average of 3.0

 - a 3.25 grade point average in required social work courses

 


Lambda Omega Phi Alpha Honor Society

The purpose of Phi Alpha is to provide a closer bond among students of social work and promote humanitarian goals and ideals.  Phi Alpha fosters high standards of education for social workers and invites into membership those who have attained excellence in scholarships and achievement in social work.

About Our Chapter, Lambda Omega...
All social work majors who meet its scholastic and professional standards are invited to become members of the Omega Lambda Chapter of Phi Alpha, Social Work Honor Society.  Inductions are held in every year for new members and graduating seniors receive their social work honor cords to be worn during commencement. *All qualifications must be met the semester prior to inductions.
