2010-2009 Social Work Club Project:

Adopt-a-Grandparent

 

Send personalized cards and letters to older adults.  This project is in conjunctions with Cope Eldercare and EVERYONE can participate! Tell your friends and join in as we give back to the community.  Cards and stamps will be provided for you!

Each meeting, we will take about 10 minutes to write the cards,

so it really is a breeze to make a world of difference!

Our next club meeting is Monday, November 4th in Ledford 301 @ 10am .  Bring your friends, ideas, and eagerness to make a positive change!  You don't have to be a social work major to join.  Everyone is welcome!

Brest Cancer Awareness Month

Please sign the banner in Cate Center Lobby and pick up a brochure with real stories of real survivors and a self breast exam guide! We are having a BAKE SALE October 26-28 from 11-2 in the Cate Center as well.  All items are only 25 cents to $1!!! Half of the proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen foundation! Join the fight in the war against breast cancer!
