2009-2010 Social Work Club Project:

Adopt-a-Grandparent

 

Send personalized cards and letters to older adults.  This project is in conjunctions with Cope Eldercare and EVERYONE can participate! Tell your friends and join in as we give back to the community.  Cards and stamps will be provided for you!

Each meeting, we will take about 10 minutes to write the cards,

so it really is a breeze to make a world of difference!

Next Club Meeting!

Our next club meeting is Monday, November 23rd in Ledford 301 @ 10am .  Bring your friends, ideas, and eagerness to make a positive change!  You don't have to be a social work major to join.  Everyone is welcome!

Books for Barwell

Don't forget that the Social Work Club is participating in Books for Barwell drive! Books can be dropped off in several locations and should be for the grades K-5.

Social Work Club T-Shirt Drive

In April 2009, the Social Work Club held its annual T-Shirt Drive for social work students.  The t-shirt was designed by one of our own social work majors.  This year's t-shirt theme is "We have no kryptonite".
