eLumen's web-based software directly supports both teaching/learning endeavors and student-support activities, enabling the academic institution as a whole to create and maintain a focus on the personal, professional, and intellectual development of individual students or cohorts of students.
eLumen generates outcomes assessment data on actual student learning outcomes directly out of regular academic and student-support processes and provides real-time access to the data so the institution can respond to this evidence of student achievement / non-achievement across time and across the institution. This makes eLumen qualitatively different from systems that are limited to tracking the reporting of assessment activities. |

PACAT is no stranger to the complexities of balancing external accountability with internal autonomy. For over 2 decades, we have specialized in creating the ACATs, nationally standardized instruments that recognize the uniqueness of individual academic departments. Departments select components that match their teaching and learning goals rather than using a test with one-size-fits-all content.
The ACAT can be administered using a pencil-and-paper format or by computer. The two methods are fully compatible and the data are provided in a consolidated report. The ACAT is available for 12 disciplines and is in use on over 500 two- and four-year campuses. |
