The Center for Academic Integrity (located at Kenan Institute of Ethics
at Duke University) and Dr. Donald McCabe of Rutgers University invited
Meredith College to take part in a nationwide survey to gather the views
of students and faculty about the current state of academic integrity at
American colleges and universities. Meredith College faculty and students were invited to complete the anonymous, on-line academic integrity survey as part of Honor and Integrity Week held February 23 - 27, 2004. 454 students and 76 faculty members at Meredith College completed the survey. National and campus survey results will be analyzed by members of the Academic Integrity Subcommittee (reporting to the Academic Climate Committee), Honor Council, and others in the Meredith community to generate recommendations for the enhancement and reinvigoration of the Honor Code and Honor System at Meredith. Recommendations will then be presented to the campus community along with campus-wide discussions and forums. Please click below for full reports of Meredith College student and faculty survey results, along with national results. Contact Dean of Students Ann Gleason at 760-8521 for more information. |
