2007 National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)
NSSE 2007 information is now available on our website. Once again, Meredith students have given high ratings in the five benchmark areas that address effective educational practices – ratings that show the College to be among the "highly engaging" campuses.
Meredith is one of the 610 colleges and universities that participated in
the 2007 National Survey of Student Engagement. Summary reports of Meredith's
results, About NSSE
at Meredith, are available to the public. Additional NSSE
reports and trend data have been provided for faculty and staff.
VISION 2010-STRATEGIC PLAN
In October 2005, the Meredith College Board of Trustees approved a new long-range strategic plan. Vision 2010 was developed over an 18+ month period with input from faculty, staff, students and alumnae as well as administrators and trustees. This bold new strategic plan outlines priorities, goals and action steps that will help Meredith reach its vision of preparing students to become engaged global citizens and leaders and achieving national recognition for its academically rigorous and transformative education. The Vision 2010 plan can be accessed at Vision 2010. The latest assessment information for this plan can be viewed at Vision 2010 - Assessment 8/07.2007 - 2008 College Goals
Each year the Senior Management Team incorporates ideas from all divisions and develops a set of goals for Meredith College. The goals for 2007-2008 were presented to and discussed with the Meredith community during the planning session for faculty and staff in August. The goals, which are closely linked to the Vision 2010 Strategic Plan, are available by clicking here.
