Eighteen (18) hours of coursework are required for the new minor. Each student

is required to take two gateway courses: REL/PHI 220—Ethics of Love and Justice

and POL 203—Contemporary American Policy and Politics. Students can then choose

from a list of electives to tailor their minor to match their major studies or particular

interests. No more than 9 credits can be counted towards the fulfillment of a particular

major at Meredith. At least one course must be taken at the 300-400 level. Students

are encouraged to check with advisors for consideration of approval of other courses

for electives.
