This class focuses on how methods of structure and style combine for excellent reading in short beginning novels or older novellas. This class offers hands-on experiences as the participants collaborate to analyze short novels in terms of both their styles and structures. We’ll focus on the importance of everything from understanding characters’ motivation to seeing the import of an author’s use of vivid verbs.
