Meredith College has a long tradition of supporting and developing women as leaders in their careers and communities. As an extension of Meredith’s mission, the College launched the Institute for Women’s Leadership, and hosted the first Women’s Leadership Summit in 2009. More than 500 women from across the region attended. Meredith also marked the 10th anniversary of holding a campus-based LeaderShape® Institute. LeaderShape is a nationally-known leadership development program that helps participants learn how to be ethical leaders who develop vision plans for improving the world around them.
