Honor Roll

• Maureen Hartford, president of Meredith College, has been elected to serve as president of the Cooperating Raleigh Colleges board of directors for 2002-03. Established in 1968, Cooperating Raleigh Colleges is an educational consortium that promotes cooperation and resource exchange among member institutions.

• The Meredith Fund, the College’s annual unrestricted giving program, exceeded $1 million in donations for fiscal year 2001-02. For more information, see www.meredith.edu/enews/meredith-fund.htm, or contact Adrienne Cole at ext. 8392.

Faculty and staff are invited to send announcements of honors or achievements for "Honor Roll" to eavesk@meredith.edu.

Mark Your Calendars!

The deadline to apply for a 2003-2004 sabbatical is 5 p.m. on Monday, September 30, 2002. Applicants will be notified in January if their sabbatical request will be granted. Applications and guidelines are available in Joyner 209-B, and 105 Hunter Hall. Call Elizabeth Wolfinger, director of faculty development, ext. 2279, with questions about Meredith’s sabbatical application and selection process.
