New Technology Vision Statement Developed
The Campus Technology Committee (CTC), with assistance from the College's Vision 2010 technology sub committee and the Academic Technology Committee (ACTech), has been working in partnership with Kaludis Consulting to develop a campus wide technology plan.
To gather information for the plan that will guide Meredith's technology efforts for the next several years, Kaludis Consulting staff member Gwenn Weaver met with nearly 200 Meredith faculty, staff, students and alumnae during a series of input sessions held across campus last spring. The 12-member Campus Technology Committee, along with representatives from ACTech and the Vision 2010 technology sub-committee, has been using the information gathered to help assess Meredith's technology strengths, to determine priorities and to draft the goals and objectives that will be included in the technology plan.
As part of this planning process, a new vision statement for technology has been developed. This vision statement, which will serve as the foundation for the forthcoming comprehensive technology plan, can be viewed at www.meredith.edu/faculty-staff/campus-technology-committee.htm.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to send comments about the vision statement to the Campus Technology Committee at ctc@meredith.edu. Further updates about Meredith's technology planning process will be announced in future issues of In a Nutshell, on e-news and through e-mail.
