Associate Professor of Art Warner Hyde Selected for International Organization

Associate Professor of Art Warner Hyde was invited to be a member of YAKIMONO, an international group of 80 top tier ceramicists from all over the world, who make ceremonial grade wares for Chado, the Japanese tea ceremony. 

Hyde will also be a guest artist with an October exhibition at Cape Fear Studios Gallery, Fayetteville, N. C. and he was accepted into a juried alumni show in Brevard College’s Spiers Gallery, Brevard, N.C., October through November. He was invited to participate in “SteinFest,” an exhibition by six North American artists who were invited to make and exhibit modern interpretations of the stein. The exhibition will be in Claymakers Gallery, Foster Street, Durham, N.C., from October through December. His work from this show will also be exhibited in the Iris BierGarten at the North Carolina Museum of Art.
