CSI Week Continues Through October 25
Wednesday, Oct. 23
Crime Scene Analysis, RPD patrol officer, CCBI investigator (the local CSI) and a detective from Raleigh Police will talk about how they work and investigate a crime scene in Joyner 203.
Wake Country Prosecutors will be talking about their work in Kresge Auditorium.
Thursday, Oct. 24
RPD Gang Unit will come to talk about their work with gang prevention and dealing with gangs in Raleigh. They will speak in Kresge Auditorium.

Meet Christine Peterson, President of Risk Management Associates (a security firm for businesses) in Harris 104
Cary Police Department crime mapping analyst Elise Pierce will talk about her work in the use of Crime Scene mapping to facilitate the work of police in Cary. She will speak in Joyner 238.
Trick or Trot Campus 5K/1-mile Fun Run
Thursday, October 24, 4 p.m. registration, 4:30 p.m. costume contest, 5 p.m. race start.
Meredith’s annual Trick or Trot campus 5K and 1-mile fun run is open to all employees, students, alumnae and guests. Trick or treating along the on-campus course.
The Writings on the Wall: Language as Art Work by Michael Klauke

Michael Klauke’s interests in graphic design, conceptual art, traditional painting and drawing and the complexities of language converge in artwork in which words and images are both interrelated and interdependent. He uses thousands of tiny, handwritten words to form compositions inspired by politics, current events, literature, art history and religion. Curated by Adriana Burkins, ’14.
Pieced Together: Collaged Drawings by Drawing II Students
Students created the large scale compositions in this exhibition by cutting up and recombining studies, experiments and earlier drawings to express a personal concept. The work was done in Cameron Johnson’s advanced drawing class
