NC Museum of Art Series Concludes March 23

While its building is undergoing renovations, the N.C. Museum of Art (NCMA) has been holding a series of lectures on the Meredith College campus. There is one additional event in the series at Meredith, which concludes at the NCMA reopening nears.

On Tuesday, March 23 at 7:15 p.m., a panel discussion about the new gallery building will be held. Featured speakers are Larry Wheeler, Museum Director, Dan Gottlieb, Director of Planning and Design, and Thomas Phifer, AIA, Architect for the Museum Expansion. This event will be held in Jones Chapel.

The lecture is free and open to the public.

Presented by the North Carolina Museum of Art and the Center for Women in the Arts at Meredith College, these events are part of a nine-part series to reacquaint people with the museum’s collection and introduce new works of art that will be seen for the first time when the new building opens.
