Meredith to Present Caryl Churchill’s Top Girls

Meredith Ensemble Theatre will present “Top Girls” by Caryl Churchill March 31-April 4 at 8 p.m. and April 5 at 3 p.m. in Jones Auditorium on the Meredith College campus.

This work by a renowned contemporary British feminist playwright is regarded as a unique play about the challenges working women face in the contemporary business world and society at large.

Churchill explores the price of success paid for by the central character, Marlene, while using unusual techniques including a nonlinear construction, an overlapping dialogue, and a mix of fantasy and reality. Come see why “Top Girls” was critically acclaimed last year when it made its Broadway debut.

Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for students and seniors; and free for Meredith students, faculty and staff.

Call the Meredith College Box Office at (919) 760-2840 or email boxoffice@meredith.edu for reservations.
