Meredith Moment: Jo Allen Named President One Year Ago

One year ago today, Jo Allen, ’80, was named Meredith College’s eighth president.

Allen’s appointment was announced on April 18, 2011, and officially began her tenure on July 1, 2011. During her first year at Meredith, Allen has initiated a new strategic planning process, forged connections with business and community leaders, and met with hundreds of alumnae throughout the state and region.
