Meredith Instructor Honored by NC Council of Teachers of Mathematics



Meredith College Instructor of Mathematics Julie Kolb has been honored by the North Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCCTM).

Kolb was presented with the W.W. Rankin Award at the organization’s State Mathematics Conference on November 1, 2013.

The Rankin Award is designed to recognize and honor individuals for their outstanding contributions to NCCTM and to mathematics education in North Carolina. The award, named in memory of W. W. Rankin, professor of mathematics at Duke University, is the highest honor NCCTM can bestow upon an individual.
