Meredith Alumnae Featured in N&O

The May 19 issue of The News & Observer's Midtown Raleigh News featured two articles on Meredith College alumnae.

One article was a profile of recent graduate Benafsha Noori, '10, who received her degree from Meredith on May 9. Noori, who is from Kabul, Afghanistan, is the first student to graduate from Meredith through the College's partnership with the Initiative to Educate Afghan Women.

The section also featured an article about Meredith alumna Elizabeth Loftis Plotkin, '06, who is the 2010 Wake County Teacher of the Year. Plotkin was a Teaching Fellow at Meredith.
