Meredith 2014 Commencement in National News

Meredith College commencement 2014

Meredith College’s 2014 commencement was held on May 3, but coverage of the event is still Going Strong. Meredith’s ceremony was featured in the national media three times during the week of May 26.

Meredith was included in the NBC Nightly News Salute to the Class of 2014. The segment ran on May 29, 2014. This is an annual tradition that the network has done during its national broadcast for 30 years.  Meredith was also in the screenshot for the story on the network’s website.

The Huffington Post noticed Meredith's tradition of decorating mortarboards at commencement and put a spotlight on the Class of 2014. The blog, which included several of Meredith’s Strong Story videos, was posted on May 27, 2014.
