Hunger and Poverty Panel Discussion Oct. 23

A Hunger and Poverty Panel Discussion will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at 7 p.m. in Jones Chapel.

Students in the Families in a Global Context course are sponsoring this panel discussion. Featured speakers from Raleigh Rescue Mission and Stop Hunger Now will discuss the issue from global and local perspectives.

The event is free, but donations will be accepted to support Raleigh Rescue Mission’s efforts to eradicate hunger in the local area. The panel discussion has been approved as an Academic / Cultural Event for General Education.
