Clyde Edgerton to Speak at Friends of the Library Event

Bestselling author Clyde Edgerton will be the featured speaker at Meredith’s Friends of the Library Dinner on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011. The event, which is a fundraiser to support the Carlyle Campbell Library, will be held at 6:30 p.m. in Belk Dining Hall.

Join Meredith’s Friends of the Library for an entertaining evening with author Clyde Edgerton, author of ten novels, a memoir, and numerous short stories and essays. Five of his novels have been New York Times Notable Books. Edgerton’s latest, “The Night Train” was published in July 2011. Visit http://www.clydeedgerton.com/ for more information.
