Annual Celebrating Student Achievement Day April 22

Celebrating Student Achievement 2010 will be held on Thursday, April 22.

On this day classes are cancelled so that the Meredith community can celebrate students’ successes during the academic year. Conference sessions, poster presentations and exhibits highlight student research and scholarship across the disciplines. Dance, music, and the visual arts will also be featured.

Two awards ceremonies will recognize academic and leadership achievement. The new Student Government Association officers will also be installed.

A special showcase focusing on Meredith’s 2009-10 campus theme “Catalysts for Change” will be held from 12:30-2 p.m. in the Carlyle Campbell Library. This year, Celebrating Student Achievement falls on Earth Day, so the “Catalysts for Change” showcase will also highlight sustainability related projects.
