1891 Club Connects Students with Meredith College

Have you heard about the 1891 Club? Meredith College’s Student-Alumnae Association, also known at the 1891 Club, is devoted to helping current students prepare for lifelong relationships with the College as partners, advocates, and investors.

The club provides students with an opportunity to be involved without adding another commitment or any responsibilities to their already full plates. The emphasis for student members is to enjoy the benefits of membership, focus on their education, and build a lasting relationship with Meredith. More than 500 students belonged to the 1891 Club last year.

Some of the benefits of membership include:

  • Networking opportunities with alumnae (Club members have gotten jobs and internships this way!)
  • Invitations to member exclusive events such as alumnae panels and socials with other members
  • Free T-shirts, a membership card with discounts for local businesses, and other special gifts

If the 1891 Club is an opportunity that you would like for your student, registration can be done online at the following link: community.meredith.edu/1891-club. Dues are $25 per year, but freshmen can join at a discounted rate of $75 for four years!

We look forward to being a part of your daughter’s Meredith experience while she is a student and throughout the rest of her life as an alumna of the College.
