The orchestra was made up of professional musicians from five states, and also included Meredith students Lance Creech, (Flute) Andrea McKerlie (Flute), and Emily McLawhorn (violin). He conducted the July Summer Stock Productions "Kiss Me Kate" for eight performances featuring Broadway actor Matt Govich.  In July, Waddelow conducted the festival orchestra of the Inspiration Point Fine Arts Colony Mummer Music Camp in Eureka Springs, Ark.
