Teri Bowling Named CLE Volunteer of the Year!

Congratulations to Teri Bowling, recipient of the CLE Volunteer of the Year Award presented by the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA). 

She is featured in the May edition of North Carolina Lawyer, a publication of the NCBA. Teri is only the sec­ond paralegal to receive this prestigious award.

A commercial real estate paralegal with Manning Fulton & Skinner PA in Raleigh, NC, Teri has a passion for paralegal education that has expanded over time. She is an adjunct faculty member of the Meredith College Paralegal Program and is currently serving a three-year term as a member of the North Carolina State Bar Board of Paralegal Certification. Teri chaired the NCBA Paralegal Division in 2008-09 and in 2009 was named the initial recipient of the NCBA Distinguished Parale­gal Award. She has served as either chair or co-chair of the divi­sion’s continuing education committee for 12 years and is constantly involved in educational matters within the NCBA Foundation’s CLE Department and the NCBA Paralegal Division. Teri is also a frequent CLE/CPE presenter on topics related to real property title searches in North Carolina.

Teri is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Meredith College Paralegal Program with a specialization in real estate. A North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal (NCCP), Teri has earned both the Certified Paralegal (CP) designation and Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP) credential in Real Estate from the National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc.
