Meredith College Documentary Film Festival Rescheduled!

On Sunday, February 14th, 2016,  the English department will be hosting  an abbreviated version of the third annual Meredith College Documentary Film Festival in Carswell  Auditorium.  This festival, made possible by the generous support of the Carlyle Campbell Library, will begin at 2:00 and end at 5:30, and will feature the works of some of the area’s most talented filmmakers (including Meredith College’s own Camden Watts). The films (one feature length and six short documentaries) will be followed by a discussion with the filmmakers, led by  WUNC radio's Anita Rao and Bit & Grain's Sandra Davidson, cohosts of the podcast She & Her.

The films selected are entertaining, engaging and educational, as are the filmmakers themselves, and the discussions that follow promise to be quite powerful.   The festival qualifies as an Academic/Cultural event in General Education, and family and friends are welcome.  The festival is free and open to the public.  Stay for one film, or stay for them all!
