Screening of American Winter, Documentary about Poverty in American


The Social Work Program will be sponsoring a screening of the film American Winter, a documentary about poverty in America. The film will be shown on Wednesday, February 26, 6-8 p.m. in Ledford 101.

Following the film, Tazra Mitchell, policy analyst with the NC Justice Center, will be speaking about poverty in North Carolina and what is being done to promote economic justice.

This event has been approved as an Academic/Cultural event for General Education.
