In September he traveled to UNC-Charlotte, Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C., and Campbell University in Buies Creek, N.C., to present a solo piano recital of works by Korean composer Ie Don Oh, Beethoven, Ginastera, and Prokofiev. He presented the same program to a large and appreciative crowd in Carswell Concert Hall on September 27. The following week, he traveled to Ball State University (BSU) in Muncie, Ind. While there, he judged a piano competition sponsored by the Music Teachers National Association, taught a master class to graduate and undergraduate piano majors at BSU, and played a solo recital program.
