| He was the first to write, singlehandedly, a
nation's language. His own people thought he was a witch. How
did this man, who apparently did not read English, create the Cherokee
syllabary -- or the "Talking Leaves," as they were called?
Tell us how he convinced the Cherokee that his creation really worked --
it's a great story. Where was he born & where did he die (you'll be
surprised to learn this)? Did he ever go by another name? A genius
if there ever was one. Somebody's just got to tell us about his life
and what he accomplished.
