| Sometimes Southeastern stickball games were called the
"Little Brother of War." They still play it in Cherokee.
How was it played? Who was competing? And what was the game
sometimes spelled Chunkey? A round stone and a spear? How is
that a game? What were some other Southeastern Indian games?
Casinos are big in Cherokee country now...were there gambling games we
know about? Tell us about some of these Southern Indian games.
Why were they important to the culture? Were they just
"games?" How did ball fields fit into Indian town
architecture? We need an expert! |
